Casa dos Ipês: A Fabulous Brazilian House in Modern and Open-plan Style

Located in San Paulo, Brazil, this architectural project was embarked by Marcio Kogan a decade ago. The project itself was considered hopeless by many architects. Despite the negative judgments, the heavy material has successfully brought stunning impression in this property through its surprising ability to float on the glass level of the beneath floor.

At the upper level, there is a central television room surrounded by bedrooms. The bedrooms glow with the light from wooden panel of the façade. Giving artful view, the shutter of the façade wooden panel has cubism appearance of the floor above, adds delicacy to the lower rooms.

There are doors to link the living room with the garden and veranda, creating an outdoor zone in the living space, supplemented by large wooden panels.

An extremely large sofa separates the room. One of its sides is heading fireplace and tv whilst the other is facing the pool and patio.

The bold wooden element remains throughout the interior. Modern and minimalist, it comprise of entertainment items and shelves. The background appears impressively in pleasant hue. The tables, seats and lamps brings unique accent to the scheme.
